HCFF INDIE FILM SERIES at FRITZTOWN CINEMA | Sunday, October 11 at 6:30 p.m.

The Hill Country Film Festival and Film Society will host a FREE screening of documentary film, Unbranded, at Fritztown Cinema on Sunday, October 11 at 6:30 p.m.  Winner of the Audience Choice Award at Hot Docs Film Festival, the film is about a young Texas horseman, who wanted to prove the worth of wild horses and raise awareness about their plight.  He gathered three of his best friends and hatched an outrageous plan to adopt, train and ride wild horses 3,000 miles from the Mexican border to Canada through some of the American West’s wildest terrain.  What ensues is an epic journey of self-discovery, friendship and big landscapes that entails runaway horses, perilous mountain passes, debilitating injuries, booming thunderstorms, personal clashes, rodeo rides, and sweeping vistas.
