Join the Hill Country Film Society and Film Festival for a FREE screening at Fritztown Cinema in Fredericksburg on Sunday, April 3 at 5:30 for a screening of Texas-made documentary film, Frank Reaugh: Pastel Poet of the Texas Plains (d. Marla Fields, 2015).

In addition to the screening RS Hanna Gallery will host a weekend of events in honor of Reaugh.  Visit here for more information.


Film Synopsis

Frank Reaugh, (pronounced Ray), one of the state’s earliest and most distinguished artists, is well known to historians, curators, and collectors of early Texas art but not necessarily to the public at large. In this feature-length documentary, new audiences will discover the remarkable contributions of this American artist, inventor, naturalist, and educator.
