HUNT VFD "BEAST BLAST"

Hunt VFD, "Home of the Beast" fire trucks, will have the "Beast Blast 2014," barbecue, live music, dance and fundraiser. HVFD chefs will serve the famed "pork butt and sausage and chicken" barbecue with fixings starting at noon. Festivities will include various displays of fire trucks, firefighting and rescue equipment, an auction of home made pies, a silent auction, raffle and lots of fun. The Texas Forest Service, Kerr County Sheriff's office, Kerrville EMT's and Fire Departments, The American Red Cross, Salvation Army, the Air Ambulance companies and other agencies who respond to floods, fires and other disasters will be invited to the event. Purpose is to have a fun and educational afternoon, and to raise funds for the Hunt Volunteer Fire Department operational expenses, equipment and training.
