Hunt Volunteer Fire Department Fundraiser Beast Blast At Criders Rodeo and Dancehall, 2310 Hwy 39 Hunt 12 Noon until 4 PM on April 16, 2016 SAVE THE DATE: APRIL 16, 2016 Hunt Volunteer Fire Department Fundraiser Criders Rodeo and Dancehall will host the annual Hunt VFD fundraiser on Saturday on April 16, 2016. Starting at noon, the Hunt VFD chefs will serve delicious meal, talented musicians will play live music for your listening and dancing pleasure, and we will have a raffle and auction. Festivities will include various displays of fire trucks, firefighting and rescue equipment, as well as a BIG raffle, door prizes, live and silent auctions, and sale of Silpada Designs Silver Jewelry. New this year, the Hill Country Rocketeers will launch rocket during the event. The Texas Forest Service, Kerr County Sheriffs office, Kerrville EMTs and Fire Departments, the American Red Cross, Salvation Army, the Air Ambulance companies and other agencies that respond to floods, fires and other disasters are invited to the event. Who knows, Smokey  Bear may even be at the Beast Blast again, if he is not out fighting a fire. This will be a fun, delicious and educational afternoon, and will help raise funds for the Hunt Volunteer Fire Department operational expenses, equipment and training.
