Pinewood Derby

Texas Hills District Pinewood Derby sponsored by The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, Boy Scouts of America and Kerrville Rotary.  Official Derby race is open to all registered Cub Scouts in the Texas Hills District.  Unit participation not required.  Ribbons will be provided for all participating Scouts.Scouts may use the same car that was used at their Pack Derby.  Scouts are encouraged to wear uniform.  Unofficial Derby races will be held on a separate track for non-scouts, parents, siblings, and other community members. Cars can be bought or assembled on-site.  Trophies awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places for Most Creative, Most Elaborate, Best Paint Job and Craziest.  Other event features include Family fun, food & drink, door prizes,Unofficial Derby Car assembly, bounce house, RJ Kroc Mascot, recruiting tables, Culver's mascot and face painting, Day Camp sign ups and more....
