Praying in Color: Doodling and Coloring as a Pathway to God Welcome to a new way to pray, led by Sybil MacBeth, author of Praying in Color: Drawing a New Path to God (2007). Prayer is the interactive conversation with God about what we are doing together.. Prayer is a process of lifelong learning as we seek to approach our Father with openness, honesty, and trust as his child. Prayer and play both encourage us to let down our guard and become childlike. The retreat will include singing, playing, praying with words, praying without words, praying Scripture, doodling/drawing, physical movement, silence and free time. If you have a short attention span and a restless body OR would like to talk to God without words OR are just looking for a new way to let God in, come experience Praying in Color. Absolutely no artistic ability is necessary! Supplies provided.
