Peterson Regional Medical Center is pleased to offer a medical lecture in cooperation with Comanche Trace. The lecture is offered to both Comanche Trace members and open to the general public and is scheduled for Thursday, June 5th. Join us for dinner in the Vista Room starting at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The presentation, "What?s New & Unique at PRMC? will include an overview of Peterson?s new Tele-Stroke and Tele-Psych robotic services, the elite Acute Rehabilitation Unit, an introduction of our newest physicians accepting new patients and part of Peterson Medical Associates, as well as an outline and discussion of the numerous specialized and certified therapies available including hand therapy, aquatic therapy, physical and occupational therapy, speech and pediatric therapies, and unique offerings such as pelvic floor muscle training, driving skills screenings, low vision assessments, and extensive wellness program. Join us as we introduce Dr. Mirelle Foster, Medical Director for the Acute Rehab Unit. Dr. Foster will offer an overview of the elite unit at Peterson, describe the services provided to patients, and detail the benefits and outcomes from utilizing these special services. In addition, she will introduce other members of the inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation team as they share stories of success from their work with patients across the Hill Country, region, and beyond who travel to PRMC for inpatient and outpatient therapy.
