Rockin' Downtown

JUNE 13: ROCKIN? DOWNTOWN. June 13, 9:00-11:30 am. There are a lot of geologic stories in plain sight downtown. Take a closer look at what buildings are made of in the 300-200 blocks of Earl Garrett St. Geologist Susan Longacre (with her budding geologist grandson Gavin Williams), and RNC naturalist Susan Sander lead a downtown tour pointing out geologic features rocking our downtown. Learn some geology, cultural history as well as trees. Fun for the family (grades 3rd-up). Starts at east side of Court House.
