Event Description:
It’s time to ROUNDUP our artists, members, art purchasers and supporters for
another show and party. The Museum of Western Art (MoWA) is pleased toinvite you to submit images for the “The Party Art Sale and Exhibition” at THE
MUSEUM OF WESTERN ART. The date for the exhibition and sale is Saturday,
September 15, 2018. Please join us for this wonderful evening consisting of an elegant cocktail buffet, libations, and a silent auction featuring original works of new art by some of today’s best Western artists.
The museum is extremely excited to have this opportunity to exhibit your recent works of art. Images of all art to be juried and the artist’s registration form need to be submitted by email to the museum by June 1,
2018. Each image submitted must have a resolution of at least 300dpi and be no
smaller than 1000 pixels (or 3.3 inches) in the smallest dimension, in order to
use for advertising. The email address is as follows: mshepherd@mowatx.com.
The exhibition will remain on view and available for purchase thru Wednesday,
October 31, 2018.
The art will be installed as a gallery exhibition. A maximum of three (3) pieces of
art by each artist can be displayed, with no more than four (4) being submitted
to the jury. The art will be sold in a silent auction. The price indicated on the
artist’s registration form must include 35% commission retained by the museum
on all artworks sold, and cannot exceed $5,000. If a credit card is used to
purchase the art, the credit card fees will be deducted from the total sale price
before the commission is calculated. The museum will retain 100% of any
amount over the asking price. There will be a twenty-five dollar
($25.00) participating artist fee to enter the show.
To have your work juried for possible inclusion in the exhibition, please email
the images of your art and artist’s registration form to the museum by June 1,
2018.
Accepted artwork must be delivered to the museum by September 8, 2018.
