Pedernales Brewing Company hosts Beer & Hymns Sept 6
Pedernales Brewing Company, the Fredericksburg-based brewery that makes Lobo beer, will host its next Beer & Hymns on Saturday, Sept 6, from 5 to 6:30 pm at the tasting room on Hwy 87 South of Fredericksburg.
Beer & Hymns is an informal and nondenominational get-together that is free to the public. Singers gather in the brewing room and sing hymns with a music leader. Admission is free. Pints of the brewery’s signature Lobo Beer are available for $4, with free bottled water. The event is held on the first Saturday of each month.
Pedernales Brewing Company started in 2009 and now produces a line of six distinct brews, led by the popular Lobo and premium Lobo Lito. The beers are available in retail chains and at events in three states and Mexico, with distribution growing every month.
Regular hours for the tasting room are Fridays from 3:00pm-5:00pm and on Saturdays from 1:00pm-5:00pm. Admission is $10 and includes a tour, an 8-oz souvenir glass, and four beer samples. Pedernales Brewing Company is located 2.4 miles south of Fredericksburg’s Main Street on US Hwy 87.
