EASTER BUNNY’S COMING TO TOWN!
More Events Added to Annual EasterFest

For more than 40 years, Hill Country families and visitors over the Easter weekend have enjoyed EasterFest, Kerrville’s premier Easter event held every Saturday before Easter Sunday.  This year, Saturday, April 19th, the event will add more fun and food and contests, than ever before! The event will be held at Flat Rock Park off Riverside Drive in Kerrville.  Gates open at 10AM and close at 5PM.
Organized for the second year in a row by Leadership Kerr County, under the guidance and support of the Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce, EasterFest will feature a certified chili and barbeque cook-off, three Easter Egg Hunts by age level, and area vendors offering unique items from food to clothing and more!  Participants have grown to enjoy these events but the Leadership Kerr County Class #29 has added even more!
New for families and visitors on Saturday will be a Classic Car Show, washer pitching tournament, and an entertainment line-up featuring recording artists and television stars!  The schedule of events is as follows:

EasterFest is made possible by supportive civic organizations, businesses, and sponsors of all levels.  Shares EasterFest Committee Chair Charlie McIlvain, representing the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, “EasterFest has grown this year.  The Leadership Class of #29 formed in September and when we were assigned this event as our class project, we didn’t waste a minute to get started.   We wanted to build on a tradition honoring veterans and civic organizations, build on the strong foundation our class before us started,  and offer more entertainment, activities, and memories for local and visiting families than ever before.  We are counting the days until EasterFest!  Sponsorships continue to pour in so we look forward to sharing our levels of sponsorship in the coming week. “
Make plans now to attend this longstanding traditional event for the entire family.  Sponsors and vendors can still participate. If you would like a booth or details on how you can participate in this event, contact the Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce at (830) 896-1155 or go to www.kerrvilleeasterfest.com for more information.
