Grand Opening of Representative Murr's District Office on July 17, 3:00 pm
Now that the 140-day Legislative Session is in the rear view mirror, I am excited to be out of Austin for a while and back in our district. Providing first-rate constituent service has been one of my highest priorities since I took office, so with that in mind I am pleased to announce the grand opening of our Kerrville District Office at 715 Water Street in downtown Kerrville.
We will be having a ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception at the office on Friday, July 17th at 3:00 p.m. Everyone is invited, so please grab your friends and family and come down to say howdy. It would be a pleasure to see you.
It will also be a great time to introduce you to my Chief of Staff from Austin, Regan Ellmer, and my new District Director, Kellie Early, who will be working full-time in the Kerrville office. Kellie and her husband, Kenneth, moved to Kerrville in 2008, and prior to joining my staff she worked as a paralegal for nearly three decades. She understands and shares my desire to provide the highest level of constituent service to all of the people of our district, so I couldn't be more pleased to have her on board.
You may already know Kellie through her work on behalf of abused and neglected children in the Kerr County area. She is a volunteer with Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA) and is the current President of the Kerr County Child Services Board. The Earlys are also members of First United Methodist Church in Kerrville where Kellie is a Leader in Bible Study Fellowship.
Normal business hours for the Kerrville District Office will be from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Please feel free to stop by anytime, or call Kellie at the office at (830) 257-0432 if you need assistance with a state agency, to voice a concern or just to ask for information. I also look forward to being in the office and available for meetings and appointments.
