As the summer winds down, Schreiner University is prepping for the upcoming school year. This year, the University is sponsoring an Involvement Fair for its new and returning students. The purpose of the fair is to assist Schreiner students with their transition to the University by connecting them with local resources. The Involvement Fair will be open to Schreiner University Recognized Student Organizations, area businesses, non-profit organizations and places of worship. It will be a great opportunity for your organization to advertise your group to Schreiner students!
The Involvement Fair will be on Wednesday, September 3 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the Cailloux Campus Activities Center (CCAC) Ballrooms on Schreiner University's campus. Participants should plan to have their areas set up by 10:45 a.m. Each organization will be assigned to an eight-foot table in the Ballrooms. There will also be limited access to electricity and Wi-Fi.
This is an opportunity for your organization to present your services to our students, not sell products to them. Therefore, organizations are prohibited from soliciting students for credit cards or positions in independent sales. In some instances, we might follow up to get more detail about the parameters of the services offered by an organization. We will also be holding a raffle during the Involvement Fair. If your organization is interested in donating items to be raffled off to students, please let us know.
If your organization is interested, please complete the included Registration Form. It needs to be returned to Angie Bauman, Director of Student Activities, via email at AEBauman@schreiner.edu by Friday, August 29 at 5 p.m. Tables will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Any questions can be directed to Angie Bauman at AEBauman@schreiner.eduor call (830) 792-7283.
We look forward to seeing you on September 3!
