Kerrville ISD STAAR Exam Scores Top State

KERRVILLE, TEXAS (August 8, 2014) – Kerrville Independent School District announces all campuses and the district earned the highest rating, Met Standard, in the official 2014 State Accountability Ratings released today by the Texas Education Agency.
“We are extremely pleased with our scores,” said Dan Troxell, Ph.D, Superintendent. “We are thrilled to see our students consistently scoring above the state in all subject areas.”
Tivy High School and the District each received all Distinction Designations possible, while all other campuses earned at least one Distinction Designation.
Troxell stated, “These results point to the outstanding performance of Kerrville ISD students in all subject areas. Coupled with our high school students taking more than 500 AP exams this year, this data illustrates that KISD continues to not just meet expectations but rather to excel beyond them.”
