BURNETA VENOSDEL IS ARTIST OF THE MONTH AT MUSEUM OF WESTERN ART
 

The Museum of Western Art is pleased to host sculptor Burneta Venosdel as its Artist of the Month for August. A wine and cheese reception and short presentation by the artist will take place on Thursday, August 16, at 5:30 p.m. Museum members may attend at no charge as a part of their benefits of being a member. Other guests are certainly welcome to attend with a suggested donation of $10 per person.

Mrs. Venosdel is an award-winning sculptor who specializes in bronze and Plein-Air pastel painting. Growing up in northwestern Oklahoma provides the foundation and experiences from which she draws her inspiration to create dynamic strong, western influenced detail-rich, modern pieces.

The award-winning Museum of Western Art is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Guided tours are available. For more information, please call 896.2553.
