MARCH MADNESS
Project Graduation ‘15 Lines Up Two Ways to Score Success for Tivy Seniors
(Kerrville, Texas/Tivy High School) – The Tivy High School Project Graduation team lines up two exciting events to start the month of March in order to help meet their $18,000 goal.  Fun, unique and exciting, the two ways you can help send 308 Tivy Seniors to Project Graduation are as follows:

  • Tivy Senior Dine Out Night – Please eat at Fuddruckers on Wednesday, March 4th from 6-8PM.  10% of all proceeds will benefit Project Graduation.  Tivy Seniors will be on hand to help you park, enter the restaurant, greet customers, and help the restaurant any way needed.  Fuddruckers is located at 1421 Junction Highway in Kerrville.
  • Drive 4 UR School – Ready to drive the car of your dreams?  Please come to Hal Peterson Middle School’s parking lot on Saturday, March 7th from 9AM-3PM and drive a showcase car from Ken Stoepel Ford’s stock. Every test drive of a dealership vehicle benefits the Tivy Seniors.  This is a no-pressure event and a chance to drive your dream car.  Ready to test drive a Mustang convertible, King Ranch truck fully loaded, or a Flex?  Have fun and freely support a great cause!
Shares Project Graduation chair Lisa Winters, “We are so blessed to raise kids in Kerrville.  These two businesses, Fuddruckers and Ken Stoepel Ford, reached out to us for support.  They care so much about kids and want to help each senior attend Project Graduation. They are clearly willing to go the extra mile and sacrifice normal business hours and profits to help our senior class.  We are touched by their willingness to support this important cause.”
Project Graduation is an annual all-night event which allows every Tivy High School seniors to celebrate graduation night together in a drug and alcohol free setting full of fun and lifelong memories.  To date, the parents of Project Graduation have sold water at the 2014 graduation, worked with the Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce to acquire business donations, sold tamales in the fall, sent letters to all senior parents, staged Antler Attacks, and reached out to area businesses.  “We are on track to cover the costs of Time Warner Park,” shares Winters, “but we need to raise at least $4,000 more to cover the costs of charter buses.”
Following the March Madness events, the traditional Giant Rummage Sale is planned, plus traditional school events to include the Senior Volleyball Challenge and Powderpuff Football.
