KERRVILLE PUBLIC SCHOOL FOUNDATION
ANNOUNCES 2014 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS
KERRVILLE, TEXAS (August 15, 2014) – The Kerrville Public School Foundation has announced the recipients of their Advanced Placement Scholarships. This scholarship is awarded to the ten Tivy High School students who accumulated the most AP score points during their high school career. Each of the ten students receives $1,000.
Listed below are the recipients of the AP Scholarship and the college each will be attending this fall.

- Carissa Tinley, New York University
- Kaleigh Flowers, Vanderbilt University
- Michael Troxell, Southern Methodist University
- Laura Beene, Sam Houston State
- Bryan Blair, Texas A&M
- Mason Phillips, Texas A&M
- Anthony Felps, Louisiana State University
- Rory Cassidy, UT Austin
- Sarah Hayes, UT Austin
“The scholarship committee is thrilled to award these scholarships to such dedicated and deserving students,” said Barbara Johnston, Executive Director of KPSF, “We wish them all the best as they begin their college careers.”
“Kerrville ISD is grateful to the Kerrville Public School Foundation for its generous support and contributions,” said Dan Troxell, Ph. D, Superintendent, “We are extremely proud of these very deserving students.”
KPSF is a 501c3 nonprofit organization with a mission to serve as a catalyst for involving the community in the enhancement and achievement of academic excellence for the children of Kerrville ISD by providing financial assistance not available through state or local funding.
