Tivy High School Theatre Department Announces Program
KERRVILLE, TEXAS (November 21, 2014) – The Tivy High School Theatre Department is presenting “At the Mall & Other Scenes” at 7 pm Thursday, December 4; Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6th in the Tivy High School Theatre located at 3250 Loop 534. General admission tickets will be $3.00 each and may be purchased at the door. The house opens at 6:30 pm. All Kerrville ISD students can attend free of charge.
“Tivy Theatre is using this opportunity to re-introduce themselves to Kerrville,” said Heather Butler, Tivy Theatre Teacher. “The kids have worked extremely hard all semester and would really appreciate having strong community support.”
The play is a compilation of the multi-faceted talent of the Tivy theatre program. "At the Mall" is a light-hearted, comedic look at various stores, employees and customers at the local mall. Interspersed throughout will be Shakespearean monologues, dramatic monologues, a dance performance and even a musical 'video' interpretation.
