K’STAR Counseling Center is seeking a compassionate, motivated Family Specialist to provide support, crisis intervention, and short-term services to youth and families in Kerr County and surrounding areas. This is a meaningful, client-focused role for someone passionate about strengthening families and helping youth overcome challenges. The Family Specialist delivers specified social services to at-risk youth and their families through outreach, crisis intervention, case management, and skill-building. This role serves as a key connection between families, community agencies, and K’STAR’s FAYS program. This is a full-time position.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree required (Social Services, Psychology, Social Work, or related field).
-One year of experience working with youth and families (preferred)
-Master’s degree/licensure (LPC-A, LMSW, LMFT-A) is a plus
-Valid Texas driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and required insurance
-Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
