Wellborn Engineering & Surveying

Wellborn Engineering, LLC (WEL) provides civil engineering consulting to both the public (municipal) and private sector clients. Established in 2001, WEL has transitioned to a full-time full-service consulting firm with its headquarters located in Kerrville, Texas (Hill Country).The firm is led by Michael Wellborn, P.E., C.F.M. who has more than 20 years of experience in the areas of planning, municipal public works, land development, hydrology/hydraulics, floodplain management, water resources, transportation/traffic, environmental, construction administration, construction inspections, and GIS. Mr. Wellborn has also served as the City Engineer for both the cities of Cedar Hill and Kerrville, Texas.
Jared Martin serves as an engineering/CAD technician and provides drafting for both engineering and surveying related projects.
Our Survey Department will be run by Scott McClintock, RPLS and we have two other new employees, Cameron Carter, EIT, and Jace Slagle as Survey Technician. The WEL team has a great deal of experience in the civil engineering field. We have proven our merit on a multitude of design projects such as storm water drainage and detention, roadway and other paving, sidewalks, water & wastewater systems, grading plans, erosion control, and a variety of general land development projects. In addition to design experience, WEL has an extensive background in providing bid phase and construction administration services.
